About Us
The official name of the student organization is "Physician Assistant Society" or PA Society. The activities of this organization are governed by the rules and regulations of the University of Texas at San Antonio (UTSA) and its Student Activities and Registered Student Organization Office. The PA Society was initially created on September 17, 1998 and re-established in February 2004.

Hello, my name is Khayla Tovar and I am a major in Psychology! I am currently a sophomore and am originally from here, San Antonio. Some of my interests include thrifting, watching kdramas, traveling, and trying new foods around the city. I started getting involved in healthcare directly during my sophomore year of high school when I began volunteering at a hospital. Since then, I've known that I belong in medicine, specifically in an area where I interact with patients directly. My goal is to become a PA in either cardiology or plastics, I am excited to tackle this career path!

This is my 2nd semester as an officer for the society and I truly enjoy every moment. Hello, my name is Nicolas Moreno, but I usually go by Nico. My desired field is sports medicine. This fall is my first semester as an officer and I absolutely love my position along with working with my fellow officers. I’ve found that I have a niche for getting to know new people with different backgrounds and experiences, which I feel has made being social chair such a delight. That being said my favorite thing about the society is the web of connections that I’ve gained from being involved.
